At The Pines at Whiting, we offer many different options to match the both the resident’s physical and monetary needs. Residents and families can more easily plan financially because most services are included in one convenient monthly fee for each level of care. Listed below are the financial options for each of the programs we offer.

The monthly maintenance fee is based on the apartment style and marital status. The fee covers the apartment, utilities, meal plan, activity program, housekeeping, maintenance, and scheduled transportation.

Included in the Monthly Service Fee – Courtyard Homes

Along with the security of health care, finances, and support, Courtyard Homes also includes the following in the Monthly Service Fee:

• 90% refundable or 33% refundable Entrance Fee for our all-inclusive contract, or
• Choose the 50% refundable Entrance Fee for our fee-for-service contract.
• Emergency call system, plus assisted living and health care at no additional monthly fee.
• Award winning dining service including expanded continental breakfast and one meal each day.
• Flat linen service, monthly housekeeping, maintenance and scheduled transportation.
• Extensive social, recreational and wellness programs.

Levels of Care and Fees (for Direct Admission)

Georgetown Assisted Living is priced to give you excellent value and easy-to-understand inclusive pricing. We are committed to providing needed care at a cost that each family feels is fair and appropriate.

Care Steps

At Georgetown, we want needed care and charges to be as straightforward as possible. That's why we offer the Five Care Step program in which each of five levels of assistance corresponds with one convenient monthly fee. This system allows prices to include most services so your monthly bill doesn't include surprises.

The base rate includes Care Step I, which is for those who are confident in a more independent environment with minimal assistance.

Care Steps II through V reflect greater assistance with medications, bathing, dressing, toileting, and other activities. The goal is to provide the right level of support to help a person live with dignity, respect and as mud control and choice as possible.

Included in the Monthly Service Fee – Georgetown Assisted Living

All Georgetown Assisted Living Care Steps include the following in the Monthly Services Fee:

• Detailed assessment process determines care requirements and the associated cost.
• Nursing and personal care including medication management.
• Three meals daily, plus snacks.
• Fitness, activity and Chaplain programs.
• A private room, utilities and access to community amenities
• One hour of assistance per day
• 24-hour emergency response system with licensed nurses on-site
• Room straightening, housekeeping and ¬all interior and exterior maintenance
• Scheduled activities
• Scheduled transportation
• Assistance with personal laundry
• Ordering prescriptions from our designated pharmacy
• Scheduling appointments if needed

Care Steps II through V include additional services.

At an additional charge, the following are also available at any Care Step level:

• Meals delivered to the room
• Spa bath
• Cable television
• Telephone

Hamilton Place Financial Options (for Direct Admission)

There are a variety of payment sources for Hamilton Place. Almost all residents in Transitions Short-term Rehabilitation are covered by Medicare or insurance. Residents in long-term care pay a daily rate of $261 for a semi-private room or $282 for a private room (if available). There are also a limited number of semi-private rooms for residents covered by Medicaid.

Included in the Service Fee – Hamilton Place

Hamilton Place includes the following in the Monthly Service Fee:

• Three meals plus snacks
• Full activity program
• Personal laundry
• Help with medication and personal care
• Chaplain services
